This is one of my “bizzaro-baroques” drawings, avant la lettre… The time is about 1979-80 when I was a history student at Sibiu University… Plenty of boring courses during which I was unstopable: I was drawing all hour long, hidden somewhere in the last rows… (Plenty of interesting also: especially the ancient History course of prof. Nicolae Branga – now deceased ; if I’m still interested in Egyptian, Ancient Greek, Roman, Indian and Chinese cultures it’s partly because of him…)
